Year 3 - Week Beginning 23 March 2020

Below are suggestions to help you with your learning while you're not at school.

Parents, whilst some of the activities below the children will be able to get on with, you may need to help and support with others.

For Literacy this week we would like you to put together a piece of writing that is about a Roman Battle. There are some worksheets at the bottom to help you.  This will build towards you final piece.  [You would expand on this further for sure]

For Maths we would like you to work through your PurpleMash activities that we have set for you to do with fractions of amounts. We will mark these and give you feedback.

We would like you to read your home reading book every day and keep a log of this. Make sure you are sometimes reading aloud, and sometimes to yourself. Ask someone for help if you're stuck and talk to someone about what you're reading.

As always, we would like you to practice your times tables and spellings.  Parents please test your children in the way we do at school - they will tell you how!

For Science try this investigation:

For History why not... [as examples]

Make sure you are getting exercise if it is safe for you to do so.

Great creative and put together a project on...
