HOW WILL THE CURRICULUM BE MATCHED TO MY CHILD’S NEEDS?

WHAT ARE THE SCHOOL’S APPROACHES TO DIFFERENTIATION AND HOW WILL THAT HELP MY CHILD?

v  At Orchard Junior School class teachers plan lessons that enable all pupils to be challenged at their individual ability level.  Generally, during daily maths and literacy lessons tasks are differentiated at three levels.  This enables pupils to access the curriculum and learn at their level. Where necessary an activity or task may be individually differentiated to reflect a pupil’s particular need.
